Billy Mays the loud salesman and famous television pitchman has died.The autopsy has been performed. Preliminary autopsy results indicate that Mays had some kind of heart disease. Billy Mays was taking some narcotics for pain hip surgery which was scheduled for 6.29.09. Mays was found dead on 6|28|09.
Mays was hit on the head with falling luggage, in an airline hard landing when two tires blew out. This was not the cause of death according to the medical examiner.
“I hate to say it, but the king is dead,” said Sullivan, his voice breaking into tears. “I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I’ll always remember his booming voice – him saying ‘Billy Mays here.’ He was the best friend a man could wish for – he was much more than people knew.”
TAMPA, Fla. — Initial autopsy results show the cause of death for famous television pitchman Billy Mays was likely heart disease.
Hillsborough County Medical Center Dr. Vernard Adams said in a press conference Monday that the autopsy revealed no evidence of any external or internal head trauma, correcting early reports that Mays, 50, may have suffered an ultimately fatal wound to the head during a rough plane landing Friday.
