Illinois funeral leaders may be facing felony charges

Illinois funeral leaders may be facing felony charges

Leaders of the Illinois Funeral directors Association may be facing felony charges. This according to recent statements made by the Illinois Comptrollers office to a Springfield, IL Newspaper.

A court deposition by the former Illinois funeral Directors Association’s Trust Administrator revealed the same thing.

Some specific people are involved.

iStock_000002848648XSmallThe Former IFDA trust administrator, Karen Blankenship stated in a deposition in April That IFDA Leaders disobeyed the law.

From the State Journal Register in Springfield, Illinois.

“In response to questions during an April 1 deposition, Blankenship said she believes that if Hynes’ accusations are true, then association officials committed crimes.

“(Y)ou would agree with me this is a pretty simple statement?” asked Robert Foote, an attorney in a class-action lawsuit filed last year in Kane County on behalf of consumers who bought pre-need funeral contracts. “You can’t violate the act, it’s a felony if you do. Correct?”

“Yes,” Blankenship answered.

Hynes has said IFDA, which is not a licensed fiduciary, never should have had a license from the comptroller to administer the trust. That contention also was addressed in Blankenship’s deposition.

“And so if Hynes is right and the trust never — if IFDA Services Inc. never was a trust company, they violated the act,” Foote asked. “Correct?”

“If he’s right, yes,” Blankenship agreed.

“And they committed a felony,” Foote continued. “Correct?”

“I have to say yes,” Blankenship answered.

Dan Hynes is the Comptroller of the State of Illinois responsible for enforcing the applicable funeral law.

iStock_000000397948XSmallTwo disgraced funeral directors in Missouri have had their  licenses revoked. Harold Warren Sr. and Harold Warren Jr. are no longer allowed to practice as funeral directors and embalmers. The two had been falsifying death certificates, not doing cremations,  charging for them and leaving rotting bodies in the basement of their funeral home.

The two owned Warren Chapels in Columbia Missouri.

From www.connectmidmissouri.com:

“The Missouri Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors…..found that the Warren Funeral Chapel collected payments for cremations that did not occur, allowed decaying bodies in unsanitary conditions, and falsified or failed to file death certificates.”

When doing a funeral always be sure who you are doing business with.

An Autopsy Report

An Autopsy Report

There will be no  Michael Jackson Autopsy results until next week.  Official Autopsy results were expected this week from the Los Angeles County Coroner.  It is not to be.

The Los Angeles Coroner is still working on the Propofil Theory and Michael Jackson’s(MJ’s) doctor Conrad Murray is the the subject of a manslaughter investigation although the Doctor has not been arrested.

From www.mtv.com:

“Despite earlier estimates that the results of Michael Jackson’s autopsy would be released this week, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said on Wednesday that the final verdict on what killed the 50-year-old pop star will not be announced until next week.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter…..  that despite plans to make the announcement this week, the results will be delayed further. Winter would not discuss the reasons for the latest hold-up in revealing what might have caused Jackson’s death, but anonymous law enforcement sources said investigators are working under the theory that the singer’s heart was stopped by a dose of the anesthetic Propofol.”

We will have to wait till next week.

obamacare_gravediggers_180Health Care reform and your funeral arrangements(death care)  need to be separate, as far as the  east is from the west. The risk of treachery is too great.

President Obama appeared to agree with this yesterday when he appeared before the AARP in a town meeting teleconference.

“Meanwhile, speculation about what the overall reform package might contain has muddled Mr. Obama’s message. That much was clear at his tele-town hall meeting with members of AARP on Tuesday when a woman asked if Medicare reforms would force people to choose how they want to die.-www.cbsnews.com

Nobody’s going to be forcing you to be making decisions on end of life care,” the president responded.

The problem I have with proposed Obama’s health  reform care plan is that it may take people into end of life care.

If they decide what drugs you receive could that not bring you to end of life?

If they decide what drugs you receive could that not bring you to end of life?

A Bureaucrat may decide you do not need a test. Should that not be your decision? Why trust someone else to make the decision that involves your life?

If they decide what drugs you receive could that not bring you to end of life?

The fact that end of life care is even mentioned as a  voluntary option  in the House of Representatives Bill {Page (425)}leaves a door open for  evil social engineering.

Should we call the gravediggers for Mom and Dad?

Addressing and making changes to the cost of health and death care must happen but not at the expense of people’s lives.
