6.07.09 More on the Doctor Tiller Funeral. Dr George  Tiller the  talked about abortion doctor was gunned down in Church  Last Week Sarah Palin commented on the Dr Tiller murder last week. The Alaska Governor  comments were reported on her  PAC web site.

Dr Tiller Abortion Doctor Was Murdered in Church, His Funeral was 6/6/09

Here are some updates to the George Tiller Funeral on 6.6.09. The funeral had protesters. The service ended inside and out in peace. US Marshals and Wichita Police did an Excellent Job.

Private Reception

There was a Private reception after the funeral at Wichita Country Club limited to close family, friends and colleagues.

San Francisco Chronicle on Tiller Murder.

The George Tiller Funeral Began with  the Traditional Lutheran Hymn ” A Mighty Fortress is our God” The overflow  rooms were full at  the College Hill United Methodist Church.  

Speakers:

The presiding minister was Rev. Kristin Neitzel.

The preacher  Rev. Lowell Michelson delivered the sermon.

A eulogy was  delivered by Larry Borcherding -Tiller Friend

The Reformation Lutheran Church sang-(Choir From Tillers Church).

It appears that that the Wichita, Kansas Police and US Marshals kept Security Tight.

The program cover stated: “Kindness, Courtesy, Justice, Love, Respect: A Service of Thanksgiving to God Celebrating the Life of Dr. George R. Tiller.”

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi an the Gospel of John were mentioned in the program.

Witchita Police did a great job preparing the neighborhood for the George Tiller Funeral

Wichita, Kansas  is gearing up for the funeral of  the controversial abortion doctor, George Tiller. Supporters and demonstators alike will be there. Dr Tiller was actively involved with National Abortion Federation, and these people will show support. The opposing Controversial Westboro Baptist Church is expected to demonstrate.

“Funeral services for Wichita abortion provider Dr. George Tiller are set for 10:00 Saturday morning at the church. On Thursday, Wichita Police visited with neighbors about what could happen…..

Wichita Police said information on security plans could be available as early as Friday morning. In the meantime, officers spent Thursday reassuring neighbors the funeral would be closely monitored by authorities.

“They said if we have any problems to call 911.”
