Sen. Robert Byrd will lie in repose from 10am to 4pm on Thursday – closed casket — in the Senate chamber. The Chaplain will give a prayer at 10:30am, which is when they will ask people to be here.

The funeral will be on Friday in WV, starting around 11am.via congress.blogs.foxnews.com”

It is not quite clear at this time who will be present at the US Senate Ceremonies.

Robert Byrd Dead|Served in US Senate 51 Years|No Funeral Arrangements Yet|Your Funeral Guy

The United States Senator from West Virginia has died at age 92. there are no public funeral, memorial or burial  arrangements at this time. Today the little known US Senate Funeral  tradition will take place Senator Robert Byrd’s Office. His  desk in his Senate Office will be draped with a black cloth and bowl of White flowers will be placed on the cloth.

Snippet From the New York Times:

“Robert C. Byrd, who used his record tenure as a United States senator to fight for the primacy of the legislative branch of government and to build a modern West Virginia with vast amounts of federal money, died at about 3 a.m. Monday, his office said. He was 92. via www.nytimes.com”

The cause of Senator Byrd’s death hs not been revealed.

Actor Dennis Hopper has died, The Director and star of “Easy Rider” is gone. Dead of Cancer, he had divorce difficulties while dying making it all the more tragic.

“Dennis Hopper, the high-flying Hollywood wild man whose memorable and erratic career included an early turn in ”Rebel Without a Cause,” an improbable smash with ”Easy Rider” and a classic character role in ”Blue Velvet,” has died. He was 74.

Hopper died Saturday at his home in the Los Angeles beach community of Venice, surrounded by family and friends, family friend Alex Hitz said. Hopper’s manager announced in October 2009 that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.”-via www.nytimes.com

The  Polish President and many of the Nations Leaders were killed in a plane crash in Russia last Saturday. When the President returned to Warsaw There was a funeral procession of tears.

It appears that Celebrity Death has gone too far-This is evidenced by the Death of the young starlet  Brittany Murphy.

Has our thirst for celebrity death gone too far wth the death of Brittany Murphy.

It has been  all too much for American’s Perception of Death and bloggers on the Internet. Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays,  John Hughes, Ted Kennedy… all have been changed in death because of the internet and twitter.
