The H1N1 Virus has been found to mutate in Norway.

There are reports from Norway  of   the H1N1,  Swine Flu mutating.  Two people have died of the mutating Virus. Officially we do not know what this all means yet. This was reported by the Washington Post.

With the 1918 Flu deadly virus, the virus was not deadly at first but mutated into a deadly Strain.

Snippet from the Washington Post

Scientists in Norway announced Friday they had detected a mutated form of the swine flu virus in two patients who died of the flu and a third who was severely ill, the most recent report of mutations in the virus that are being watched closely for any change that could make it more dangerous.

The possibility of  H1N1, or swine flu mutation could bring a deadly pandemic with world wide funerals.

An H1N1 death comes too close too home. Just a Stone’s throw away from where I live a teenager has died from H1N1 or Swine flu. This is unsettling as i have young ones that age.

The government has not been quick to respond with a vaccine. Because of the the pandemic status of this disease  there are grave concerns that the virus will mutate.

‘The 14-year-old Naperville girl who died this(last) week after contracting the H1N1 swine flu also had a serious heart defect that “strongly contributed” to her death, the DuPage County coroner’s office said today. Michelle Fahle, 14, of Naperville was the first swine flu-related fatality in the county, according to Health Department spokesman David Hass. She died Thursday. But health officials had pointed out Friday that a majority of swine flu victims have other underlying health problems”

June 11th 2009-The World Health Organization -WHO- has declared that  the H1N1 Virus  Swine Flu A WORLD PANDEMIC. This a matter of grave concern because we are not in flu season. This indicates a significant spread of the virus around the world.

If this H1N1 virus strain were to mutate during flu season there could be many funerals and a worldwide disaster. This is this the first time  this has happened in over 41 years.

Your Funeral Guy believes that it could be a worldwide disaster even if the  H1N1 Swine  flu strain virus does not mutate many deaths or funerals may occur Many experts however disagree. From:TimesOnline.

A disease is classed as a pandemic when transmission between humans becomes widespread in at least two regions of the world.

WHO placed  the H1N1 #6 on it’s epidemic.

The last global flu pandemic came in 1968 over the so-called “Hong Kong” flu, which killed about 1 million people worldwide.”

At the time of this post USA  HHS had not commented.

Certainly the hope is that this virus does not bring about anyones funeral
